Getting your QAV America Club premium podcast into your app.

You joined QAV America Club. You got the welcome email. Now your podcast app won't accept the feed URL. It's a common snag — and it's a two-minute fix. Here's how.

The one thing

Copy the feed URL — don't click it.

COPY the feed URL we sent you. Don't click it. Clicking the link in the email just opens it in your browser, which won't do anything useful. You need to copy it as text and paste it into your podcast app. On a phone, press and hold the link and choose Copy; on a computer, right-click and choose Copy link.

QAV America Club has two premium feeds. The URL in your welcome email matches the plan you joined on — it's one of these:

Three apps that work

Pick yours and follow the steps.

iPhone / iPad

Apple Podcasts

  1. Open the Podcasts app and tap Library.
  2. Tap the three dots (…) top right, then Follow a Show by URL.
  3. Paste your feed URL from above.
  4. When asked, enter the username and password from your welcome email.
Mac / Windows

Apple Podcasts (Desktop)

  1. Open the Podcasts app on your Mac or PC.
  2. Click the File menu in the top bar.
  3. Click Follow a Show by URL…
  4. Paste your feed URL, then click OK and enter your username and password.
Android

Podcast Addict

  1. Install Podcast Addict from the Play Store (free).
  2. Tap the + button, then RSS Feed.
  3. Paste the feed URL with your credentials embedded:
    https://USERNAME:PASSWORD@qavamerica.com/feed/qav-america-club-monthly/ (replace USERNAME and PASSWORD with the ones from your welcome email; use qav-america-club-annual if you're on the annual plan).
  4. Tap Add.
Any other app

Everything else

Most podcast apps support premium feeds — they just hide the option in different places. The full set of instructions, including each app's quirks, lives on the TPN central page.

Heads up: Spotify and Google Podcasts don't support premium RSS feeds at all, and Pocket Casts removed the feature in 2023. Use one of the apps above.

Before you email us

The three questions we get most.

"I didn't get the welcome email with my feed details."

Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it's genuinely not there, email admin@qavpodcast.com.au and we'll resend it.

"I've got a new phone and lost the original email."

Your feed URLs are listed above. If you can't remember your password, reset it from your account page.

"The feed won't load / my app says it can't be found."

Two quick fixes solve almost every case: change https:// to http:// at the start of the URL, and if there's a trailing slash on the end, remove it. Still stuck? See below.
